The purpose of the Forum is to:
 
Ensure that the widely held concerns among older people are put and kept before the  appropriate authorities.
 
Promote and involve itself with policies that shall benefit older people, and enable them to maintain their individual dignity and their worth in society.
 
Positively combat age discrimination.
 
Be totally inclusive of older people irrespective of generder, disability, ethnic origin, maritial status, political alliance, religious belief, or secual orientation.
